Experience Kibuye
Today we learned that, apparently, 800 million Kenyan Shilling (aprox. 60 million svk.) has been given to the city of Kisumu in assistance to clean the streets from its waste and garbage. Nothing has been done.
Walking aorund Kibuye, we were introducued to a man that has turned his plot into a mini-factory, processing and recycling plastic gathered from the streets of Kisumu, but the city has no interest in letting that man do a profit on that waste since they get a lot more from the aid.
